dust_control

Measuring the amount of dust using the dust_control system, which is fitted after the cyclone on the cooler, closes a loophole in monitoring the quality of the used sand.

With the dust_control dust measuring system, a hopper scale is filled and emptied at short intervals by the dust discharged from the cyclone. This continuous measurement of the dust flow makes it possible to control the amount of dust that is sucked out of and returned to the cooler.

air_control

The air_control measuring system provides continuous online monitoring of the airflow in the used sand cooler.

The flow of exhaust air in the used sand cooler ensures that the water vapour is removed, which in turn ensures that the used sand cools down to the right temperature. However, large quantities of fine particles are removed along with the water vapour and exhaust air.
